Straight answers
Do I need IELTS to study abroad with AREC?+
Not always. Many universities in Malaysia, North Cyprus and Russia accept their own English placement test or a medium-of-instruction certificate. We tell you exactly which of your shortlisted universities require IELTS before you spend money on the exam.
How much does the whole process cost?+
Counselling and university application through AREC is free. You pay official university, embassy and travel costs directly, and we give you a written cost sheet for every destination before you commit.
What if my visa gets refused?+
Our visa success rate is 98% because we do not lodge weak files. If a refusal does happen, we review the refusal notice, fix the gap and reapply or switch you to an alternative destination at no extra service fee.
Can I work while studying?+
Yes in all four destinations, with different limits. Bulgaria and Malaysia allow around 20 hours a week, North Cyprus offers on-campus work, and Russia permits part-time work with a permit.
How long does the whole process take?+
From first counselling to boarding the plane it is typically 3 to 5 months, depending on the country and intake. North Cyprus is the fastest, Bulgaria the longest because of EU document legalisation.

Yes. Airport pickup, accommodation check-in, bank account and SIM setup, and a local contact you can call are all part of our pre-departure and arrival support.
